About the Game

Mutaclade is a phone-first multiplayer survival game where players evolve alien species across a hostile, changing planet. One player hosts from a PC while everyone else joins from their phones — no app download required.

Each game is driven by a scenario seed that determines the exact sequence of world events: meteor showers, volcanic eruptions, droughts, disease outbreaks, food booms, and more. Evolve the right traits, cooperate or compete with other species, and try to outlast the ecosystem.

How to Play

1. One person creates a game and shares the room code or QR code.
2. Everyone else joins from their phone at play.mutaclade.com/join.
3. Each player customises their creature's appearance.
4. The host starts the game.
5. Players alternate mutation rounds (choose traits) and feeding/survival rounds (feed, cooperate, adapt).
6. World events change the ecosystem every round — the same seed always produces the same events.
7. The player with the best final challenge score wins.
